§ 2-42. Qualifications.

The reserve shall consist of not more than fifteen (15) members. Any person desiring appointment to the reserve must submit a written application to the mayor of the city, certifying that he or she is a resident of the county, is at least nineteen (19) years of age, of good moral character and reputation, and has never been convicted of a felony or of a misdemeanor involving force, violence or moral turpitude. Applicants must consent in writing to be fingerprinted and a background search.
